Liam Greenfield. Signs for Penistone Church

We are excited to announce the signing of Liam Greenfield from Staveley Miners Welfare. Liam became a Church player from on 22 Feb.

Liam is a striker who can play wide or down the middle, he is aged 22 and is 23 in April. Liam progressed through the Staveley Junior setup winning the U21 League and Cup double with Staveley. He has 7 appearances this season for Staveley MW first team.

Ian Richards has been Impressed enough to keep tabs on how Liam has progressed and we are delighted to welcome Liam to our club.

An official picture of Liam Greenfield is not yet available so here is one in his SMW FC colours.

George Whittaker comes to us from AFC Emley. George is still under 20 years old and already has 22 appearances as a midfielder this season for AFC Emley’s first team. He has a busy, hard-tackling style, so we look forward to seeing him play at the DSM Memorial Ground soon.
