Knaresborough 2 - 0 PCFC
Church are knocked out of the NCEL League Cup at Knaresborough after a fairly mediocre game of few chances.
It was pretty uninspiring stuff all round this evening, with nothing really between the two sides. Jubby speaks with Dave Hampshire below about 2 set pieces being the difference and a bit more hunger and desire from the home side on the night, which was disappointing.
Church fielded a much changed team giving players an opportunity that have so far had less minutes than others this season to date.
It was good to see Matty Lee back in a Church shirt after his recent and quick signing from Stocksbridge Park Steels. He will remain dual signed .
See Jubby’s after match discussion with Dave Hampshire below -
The lads are back in action on Saturday with a 3pm kick off at home in the NCEL Premier Division at The Simply Log Cabins Memorial Ground when they take on Pickering Town.
