PCFC 1 - 1 Rossington Main - Match Reaction
A heartbreaking last minute equaliser cost Church the 3 points last night, meaning the lads had to settle for a draw after another commited display. Things started really well with an early lead being established with another Jack Cawthorn goal, making it 2 in 2 home games , and an overall performance that limited the opposition to few chances.
Brett gives his thoughts on the display in our new after match interview feature with our man on the ground Dave Hampshire.
Last minute goals against make a draw feel like a defeat, and the Harry Viggars disallowed goal is questioned by the lads as they discuss the ups and downs of this game and the last 3 fixtures, and what might have been with a little more luck and rub of the green. One thing for sure the effort and application of the team is not in doubt.
No point crying over spilt milk, the lads remain positive and get ready to go again in the league cup next Tuesday at Knaresborough meaning a second consecutive Saturday off.
We hope to see you there.
