PCFC 1-1 Retford Utd - Reaction
Another great home crowd of 307 at the Simply Log Cabins Memorial Ground, saw Church come back from a one goal deficit in the rain to draw 1-1 after a second half equaliser from man of the match Jack Cawthorn.
A gripping contest played in the first proper rainfall for weeks , as two commited sides went head to head.
Our PCFC U7s were mascots for the day and chose Jack Cawthorn as their man of the match . He was solid at the back alongside Harry Viggars, Ludz and Danny and came up with the finish of a striker to score a deserved equalising goal. The lads pushed for a winner in the second half and on another day could have nicked it.
A good point and probably a fair result on balance across the first and second half.
