Post Match reaction from Brett in the video below - The third friendly of the week on a lovely summers evening v Emley AFC at the Parker Roofing Memorial ground. The game ends 3-2 to the visitors who scored a late winner in the closing minutes to nick the win. Emley went 2-0 up in the first half, but Church with a really good second half perfromace deservedly drew level at 2-2 after goals from Will Heath and Leon Hurles-Brook ( an absolute beauty) A really enjoyable contest

Church 1-2 Stocksbridge PS - Match Reaction
This evenings first team friendly was a good work out v local neighbours Stocksbridge, who we thank for coming across the hill to play us tonight. A slight change of plan meant us hosting 2 fixtures in 2 days due to tomorrows World Cup Semi Final, but it was another good workout and got more minutes into the squads legs. Church 1-1 Route One Rovers - Reaction
Tonight the lads had their third pre-season fixture and first home game of three to be played this week. A good run out against a very good Route One Rovers side finished 1-1 with the goal coming from Will Heath. Here our club secretary Dave Hampshire has a post game catch up with Brett for his initial post match reaction and thoughts on the workout.

Penistone U16 Girls Play off in 7-a-side Final and bag themselves a new kit !
Penistone Blacks and Penistone Pinks U16's played each other in the final at Barnsley Women's first 7-a-side team. Both teams reached the knockout stages of the tournament . Pinks beat Brinsworth in the semi final and Blacks beat Halifax on penalties to make it an all Penistone final . The coaches remained neutral , as they played out the final - with Pinks edging the final 2-1. The Pinks earning a brand new full kit for the squad for season 26/27. It was absolutely fantast

Please take a moment to acknowledge one of our very own PCFC U14s Womens players. Leah Walton, whose dad Craig let us into a big secret he had been keeping this week, when he posted on a PCFC Facebook post. The Under 15 girls enjoyed their biggest end of season party yet ! Footgolf, Aqua Park at Rother Valley and then food and trophies ! The girls have finished 3rd in Division 4 and opted for a full day presentation party. It was a fantastic day and night - enjoyed by the girls, coaches and their entire football family. Wow, what an amazing early Monday morning. Following Englands unreal 3-2 victory in the Azteca v host nation Mexico, England will now move forward to the Quarter Finals of the World Cup where they will meet Norway ( who themselves beat Brazil) in Miami. it sets up another Super Saturday in the club house.
