A Busy Weekend Pending…..
A busy weekend for our senior teams…. On Thursday our u18s travel to Guiseley AFC to participate in the FA Youth Cup. It’s a 7pm Kick Off. On Friday it’s the main event with the men’s first team in NCEL Premier Division action away at local rivals Worsbrough Bridge Athletic in what should be a cracking local derby. Both teams making decent starts to the season. It’s a 7.45pm kick off and we hope to see you all there. On Saturday our Reserves are at home at The Simply Log C
Reserves 2 - 1 Swinton Athletic
A fine overall display by a young PCFC reserves squad beat Swinton Athletic this evening at the Simply Log Cabins Memorial Ground in a game they dominated despite going 1-0 down in the first half. Goals from Ash Fisher and Harry Hoyland earning the lads 3 points, and a fine 2-1 win in a combative game building on the draw at Dodworth MW last time out. A date for your diaries, this Thursday 3rd Sept - 7pm - and an important date in the clubs annual fixture list. Our very talented u18 side will play in this years FA Youth Cup and have been drawn away to Guiseley AFC ( Near Leeds) in the Preliminary Round, having had a bye in the extra preliminary round. PCFC 1-1 Retford Utd - Reaction
Another great home crowd of 307 at the Simply Log Cabins Memorial Ground, saw Church come back from a one goal deficit in the rain to draw 1-1 after a second half equaliser from man of the match Jack Cawthorn. Penistone U16 Girls Play off in 7-a-side Final and bag themselves a new kit !
Penistone Blacks and Penistone Pinks U16's played each other in the final at Barnsley Women's first 7-a-side team. Both teams reached the knockout stages of the tournament . Pinks beat Brinsworth in the semi final and Blacks beat Halifax on penalties to make it an all Penistone final . The coaches remained neutral , as they played out the final - with Pinks edging the final 2-1. The Pinks earning a brand new full kit for the squad for season 26/27. It was absolutely fantast

120th Fun Day - What A Fantastic Afternoon
A massive thankyou to everybody who attended our 120th Anniversary Fun Day and Churchfest on Sunday afternoon. We were blown away with the attendance, the amazing weather and the fabulous atmosphere that was created. The stall holders and food stalls did a roaring trade, the bar was constantly busy, the bands in our mini festival were fantastic, the kids were kept entertained on the inflatables and on the fire engine, but most importantly our community had a right good royal
