Our U14’s had their final game of the season facing a strong and physical Sprotbrough side away. A win could see us finish 4th so that was the aim for the day. Penultimate game for the U14's
This weekend saw the U14s go into their penultimate game of this season. We said to the girls prior to the game how happy we are with how they’ve done this season, securing another season in the top division and looking at a mid to high table finish. So the girls were asked to go out there and just enjoy the game. It was always going to be a tough one with Penistone only having a bare 11 players, so there would be no fresh legs to bring on when the opposition made their subs
Final Home Game For The U14s
This weekend saw the final home game of the season for our U14s with a fixture against Sheffield United who’ve had a very strong second half of the season. Seeing Sheffields recent results we knew today was going to be good game for the spectators. Penistone needed to be alert at all times but unfortunately this wasn’t the case for the visitors first goal.
