All of our senior teams are on their travels this weekend, so no live senior football at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground for once, however not too far to travel as they all take on local opposition. The First team travel to Golcar United for a local derby on Saturday with a 3pm Kick Off on the outskirts of Huddersfield in the NCEL Premier Division. Penistone Church Ladies Blacks were back in action this week as we travelled over to Rotherham to face our hosts Rawmarsh St Josephs. Both teams had been in inconsistent form of late, but it was nice to get back on a grass pitch and, for the first time in what felt like months, play without the rain. The U14s were back in league action this weekend facing a strong SJR Worksop team. Having played them twice this season in the league and cup and with both games being close we knew we would have to be on top form to take anything from the game.   Before kick off both teams were sat mid table, level on points. If either team could find that win it would give them the chance to jump up to 4th in division 1 and set them up for a strong push towards the end of the season.   Peni
