Player Registrations
All players need to be registered on the FA portal so they can play for the club.

Prior to registration you must make a copy of the online form below and share with parents so you get the correct permissions and it will inform you or any medical needs and authorisation for the use of photos.​


Player Registration Form
1) (Suggest doing this on a laptop) Login to a microsoft account you have through forms.cloud.microsoft
2) Click the link
3) Click 'Duplicate it' button at the top
4) Click the 'Collect Responses' button at top right.
5) Click 'Shorten Url' and then press copy link.
6) Send the link out to parents on your communication channel (e.g. Whatsapp, Emails etc..)
7) Regularly check by going to forms.cloud.microsoft open up the form --> View Responses --> Open Results in Excel
8) Reminder parents until you have all responses - Important as all parents must sign this as it includes a code of conduct.
Registering Players on the Portal
Log onto the FA Portal.

Click on the Players tab.
​
Click Add Player.
​
Option 1 - If the player has played for a team previously then use the 'Search by FAN' option and put in their FAN and Date of Birth.
Option 2 - If they might have played before then 'Search by name' and see if their information appears
Option 3 - If they are brand new to the system choose 'create player'.

Once the player is preliminary on the portal you then need to go to the 'Pending Actions' tab. This will take you through the stages you need to complete
​
1) Consent - As the parent will have completed the online form above you can select the 'offline' consent
2) Assign Team - Assign them to your team
3) Player Info - Input all player info required plus a photo
4) Verify ID - You need to see a copy of the players ID and verify this on the system

Once you have completed the checks you can then 'Submit to League'.

IMPORTANT - Sending Player ID to the league.

You must send a copy of the players ID (following GDPR good practice) to the league so they can sign off the registration.

Check back regularly on the portal to ensure the player changes status from 'Pending League' to 'Registered'.
