Penistone created some good opportunities in the opening twenty minutes but Gawber defended well. It was Gawber who then broke the

⚽ FULL TIME Parkgate Women 7–0 Penistone Church Women We advertise our wins, so today we’ll own our losses too (but please feel free to neither like nor share this post 🤣🤣🙈) A tough afternoon and a result that hurts, but this is a young team still learning and developing together. For large parts of the game we were brave, battling and committed, but a 20-minute spell in which we conceded four goals ultimately took the game away from us. Massive credit to Parkgate Women. A

Penistone Church U16 Whites continued their winning start to the season after overcoming a late scare to beat Brunsmeer 2:3 in their SHGWL Div 2 match this weekend. It was a fast and determined start for Penistone who scored early when Izzy Lomas poked home from a corner in an opening spell that saw Penistone enjoy good possession in and around the opposition box. Having lost to Brunsmeer last year the team knew that the opposition would not lie down as proved to be the case

After a pre-season focused on recruiting new players the U14 whites took the opportunity of an early free Saturday in the league season to take on a friendly against our good friends at Thorncliffe Villa. A tough result for the girls yesterday as we were beaten 7–1 by a strong and well-organised Rawmarsh St Joseph’s side.
