All round Top man & Church Legend Kieran Ryan made his 300th appearance for the club in our S&H Senior Cup win at Parkgate on Tuesday evening. Kieran scored our 3rd goal in a 3-0 win in that game and it was his second goal in the last 2 fixtures after scoring at home v Pickering Town last Saturday with a smart finish. A great away win for Church tonight in the Second Round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup. The lads navigated a tricky away fixture just down the road in Rotherham v Parkgate, and came out 3-0 Victors. 2 goals from Nathan Keightley and 1 in the last couple of minutes from Kieran Ryan giving Church the win along with a clean sheet too. Another close NCEL Premier Division encounter yesterday at the Simply Log Cabins Memorial Ground. Not much to choose between Church and Pickering from a footballing point of view by half time, but somehow Church were 2-0 down and facing a stern challenge to get back into the game.
