We are a little late in doing so, but we wanted to wish a big welcome to Penistone Church FC to Dan White our latest signing. Dan trained with the squad and was involved in some of the pre-season frendlies, and has now signed up for the season, having been involved in the last couple of games. Dan is ex Dronfield & Maltby Main, and Brett Lovell told us that "he is a big, strong old fashioned style centre half who defends the frame of his goal well and will head and kick anything in his path"....

After 3 consecutive away fixtures, the first team return to action in Penistone at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground, this coming Saturday, when they take on Frickley Athetic in the NCEL Premier Division. The lads have picked up 2 wins in their last 2 league games, and we hope for more of the same at the weekend. It’s a 3pm Kick Off and the club house bar will be open from Noon.
