🖤🤍 Match Day - Under 14 Whites 🖤🤍
Penistone Church 0 - 1 Brampton United
Before kick-off, both teams and supporters held a minute's silence, as this was our closest fixture to Remembrance Day. Thank you to everyone for observing it so respectfully. 🌺
On the pitch, Church are getting closer and closer. We conceded only one goal and created a good few chances of our own, which shows the process is working. If the girls keep turning up at training and on a Saturday, that first win of the season will come.
There were some great performances across the pitch. Olivia B was excellent in goal again, and what a penalty save in the first half! 🧤 Lottie had her best game yet in a black and white shirt, showing her class on the ball and always passing forward. Sophia stayed as consistent as ever and is a great no-nonsense defender.
🏆 Player of the Match went to Penny, who defended superbly, won her challenges and kept playing the ball forward.
As always, a big thank you to our sponsors https://sub-core.co.uk
