Match Day - U14 whites

AFC Bentley 3 - 0 PCFC women U14 whites

U14 whites made the longest trip of the season to face an in-form Bentley side who raced into a 3-0 lead before half time benefitting from a strong wind which similarly made it difficult for Church to clear their lines.

We were much improved in the second half; being much more challenging and aggressive in tackles, creating opportunities although that pesky wind didn’t return to give any favours our way.

Standout performances came from Phoebe in defence; being really combative and making big clearances, Em who was a constant threat down the right wing, getting in some excellent positions and always offering an outlet, Liv F who played the first half in goal and then came on in the second half to play up front and was a menace to the Bentley defence never giving up on challenging for the ball.

Player of the Match went to Olivia B who made her debut in goal in the second half and showed real composure and gave us a solid base for that improved performance.
