The Blacks made the first of two back-to-back visits to Pogmoor this weekend, coming away with a well-earned 2-0 win against the Pinks.
It was a game that could have gone either way, with both sides creating plenty of chances and even hitting the woodwork, but it was Penistone who took theirs when it mattered.
Molly opened the scoring on 36 minutes with a composed finish under pressure, giving us a deserved lead going into the break.
The game stayed competitive throughout, but the points were secured in the 90th minute when Emmie finished well after some brilliant work down the left from Jasmine — who also picked up the assist for the opener 👏
