Match Week 4 - Brinsworth at Home

This week saw the boys in their first home game of the season and looking to improve on previous weeks.

The match started with the away team initially applying pressure until Penistone kicked into gear and managed to score a goal and take control of the game.

Goals came from Carter (2), Jude, Leo and Reuben in a good all round team performance and a positive result which will hopefully kickstart our season.

Another great performance from this weeks Captain, our Number 5, continuing his strong start to the season.

This weeks Man of the Match had many contenders and could have gone to many different players, but was eventually awarded to our Number 6. A great dogged first half battling performance followed by pulling off some great saves in the second half.

Onto next week, Rotherham Town Away, looking to continually improve and put in another strong performance.
