Match Week 5 - Rotherham Town Away

A great performance this week for the boys U9 Whites. Playing away from home, Penistone attacked the opposition with intent. They applied constant pressure until Jude finally broke the deadlock, pouncing on a save from the goalkeeper and putting Penistone in front.

The second half saw Penistone apply the pressure once again, with a great goal coming from brilliant link up play between Kellan and Carter. Carter went on to complete a great second half Hat Trick. Luke smashed one in to the top corner and Reuben also added to the score line with a composed finish.

A good all round team performance and another positive result.

Well done to this weeks Captain our Number 7, great in training the previous week and a strong performance today.

Also congratulations to our 'Man of the Match' our Number 3, pulling off some great saves in the first half and working tirelessly outfield in the second half.
