Penistone Church Football Club received over 70 bags of clothing as part of their December push to support the Yorkshire based Clothing Bank Charity. Club chair David Elliott said he was "delighted but not surprised" with the level of support received for the initiative adding, "we know how lucky Penistone Church Football Club is to operate in such a great, vibrant and supportive community. In 2026 we are keen to build closer relationships with groups and charities like The Clothing Bank that we can help. That may be through the utilisation and provision of our facilities or through support from our experienced and talented pool of volunteers".

The clothing donations will now be taken to The Clothing Bank Hub in West Yorkshire where the clothes will be checked, sorted and redistributed to people and groups in need, including the homeless, shelter homes, young vulnerable adults and families.

Penistone Church Football Club would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who took the time to visit and donate.
