Church faced the division runaway leaders Millmoor Juniors at the Memorial Ground this weekend where the girls had to stand tall for themselves and each other..
With illness rife throughout the squad, the team faced difficult circumstances, but they showed real character, resilience and togetherness.
There were plenty of positives, particularly in the second half, when we got the ball down, played our own football and established greater control. There'll be a few sore legs this week, but plenty of pride too.
🏆 Player of the Game: Dottie, who was fearless throughout and never took a backward step. It was only one month ago that this girl had her first training session!
Performance over result. Trust the process. Keep moving forward.
