Another entertaining and high scoring draw for Church. These 3-3's have become a bit of a habit over the last few weeks.
Tonight though was tinged with a little disappointment as Church seemed to have nicked the points in the 90th minute following a fabulous dead ball free kick by Jammy from the right wing, which was met and headed downwards by Rob Ludlam at the back post and into the goal at the Club House End. Unfortunaetly it was'nt to be as Knaresborough managed an equaliser in the 3rd min of added time.
Earlier in the evening Knaresborough took a deserved 1-0 nil in the 20th minute but Church rallied and equalised from a Nathan Keightley penalty in the 33rd minute following a clumsy foul on Matty Lee, who again was impressive with his directness. Then right on half time Jammy scored directly from a corner kick from the right hand side, giving Church a 2-1 lead at the interval.
Knaresborough pulled back an equaliser in the 74th minute before the late drama saw the game conclude in a 3-3 draw.
Man of the Match was Harry Ambler who made some great saves and came out on top in a couple of one on ones in the first half.
Attendance was 161.
