Church 1-0 Sheffield FC
The last match of the 25/26 campaign saw us with a home fixture v the oldest club in the world Sheffield FC. A record crowd of 1007 gathered to make a great atmosphere at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground. A fairly even game but with relatively few chances, as the wind played its part making it fairly difficult conditions for both sides. It was a 34th minute penalty taken by skipper for the day James Young on his 348th and final appearance for Church, that ultimately proved

Thankyou JONNO - Again!!
As we head into the final game of the season, at home v Sheffield Club, we take a moment to say thankyou to Jonno before he finally gets to retire. We have to give a massive final thankyou to Jonno for stepping back in over the last few months and helping the first team turn a corner since making his comeback on 20th December v Horbury Town. He only retired from the team last summer, and went off to enjoy some family time and playing for our O35s. But club stalwarts are di

James Young - PCFC Legend
On Saturday 4th April, the first teams final fixture of the season at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground, v the Oldest Club in the World Sheffield FC, will be the stage for James Young (Jammy's) final game for Church as he retires from playing. It goes without saying that we want this to be a special occasion for Jammy and his family, as we celebrate his 348th and final NCEL appearance for Church. This puts him in the top 2 of all time appearances in the NCEL era for the club

Pickering Town 1 - 1 Church
A lovely sunny North Yorkshire afternoon greeted the travelling black & white army this afternoon as they arrived at Mill Lane, home of Pickering Town FC for the last away fixture of the 2025/26 NCEL Premier Division Campaign. Today was None League Day and our hosts had invited several former players back for a pre game ceremony and this along with the coach from Penistone and the fact it was None League Day generated a crowd of 224. Church were here having had the support of

PCFC in Uganda - Church Going Global
Quite possibly the best image you will see today.... Look at this amazing pair proudly donning Penistone Church FC shirts out in Uganda. They look so good and we are so proud to see them in our club strip - It really means the world to us. These shirts were sent to disadvantaged kids in Africa by former PCFC ladies player Lilly Bowden-Lovell. Lilly now playing her football for Barnsley but also is known to many at the club due to working in the club house and VIP suite on m

Next Up - Pickering Town Away - Coach Trip - 28th March
On Saturday 28th March the Men's First team are hosted by Pickering Town at Mill Lane in the NCEL Premier Division. It's the lads penultimate game of the season and our last away fixture of the season. The lads need your support as some points on the board pretty much guarantees our status for next season. It will be another tough fixture, as Pickering is never an easy place to visit, and they are going well towards the top end of the league table, and will no doubt be look

Church 1 - 3 Campion AFC
A fairly even and end to end fixture at the Parker Roofing Memorial ground this afternoon, but the visitors took all 3 points with them back to Bradford after a goal in injury time sealed the deal, giving a scoreline that looks far more comprehensive than it actually was. Campion got in front in the first half with a headed goal by Shay Muirhead from a right sided corner, in front of the club house end on 31 minutes. Church were then deservedly level on 42 minutes after a co

Golcar Utd 2-0 Church
The lads came unstuck this afternoon at Golcar , despite a very promising first half performance. It was a pretty close game, played on a heavy pitch in front of a good crowd. A very even contest which ebbed and flowed with both teams having phases of being on top. It’s fair to say in a game of few chances, Golcar took theirs and Church did not. Our best chances falling to Lennon in the first half, and then Reece & Luca in the second. Golcar strikers Flynn and Doyle made t
