Our first visit to The Myra Shay in Bradford to play Albion Sports in their new home. For the second consecutive game the lads had to contend with an AstroTurf pitch. They put in an excellent first 45 minutes, but amazingly found themselves 0-2 at the half following two cool finishes by the ever alive Nathan Cartman. Liam Clayton has completed his loan period with Penistone Church and now returned to Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. Church continued their unbeaten start to 2026 in an entertaining game at Bottesford Town. A good win for Church yesterday v a combative Thackley side. Church upped the ante in the second half and a lovely finish by half time substitute Jordan Coduri proved the difference between the 2 sides. Next up is a crucial NCEL Premier Division Fixture at home v local neighbours Wombwell Town. The reverse fixture at Wombwell in October ended in an entertaining 1-1 draw with our goal scored by Kieran Ryan.
