Penistone Church Whites kicked off their USA Tour year with a comprehensive opening day victory against Barnsley Reds.
Ella led the charge with 4 goals in the opening 15 minutes which all but sealed the points for Church within the first quarter of the game.
Izzy added an excellent finish before half time prior to the team's turning around with Church playing up the slope in the second half.
Despite the disadvantage the teams performance improved in the second half and debut goals were added by Gabi and Daisy (x2) either side of further goals for Freya W and Kevayah.
With the team dominant all over the pitch and scoring freely it was a fabulous start to the season for the team.
Girl of the game went to Jess who was uncompromising in defence and carried the ball through the opposition lines on a regular basis.
Credit must also go to Barnsley Reds who never gave up and conducted themselves professionally throughout.
