Our first point of the season!

It’s been a tough season so far for U13’s Whites. Promotion last year but the girls have found it challenging to move up a league and start playing 11V11. We have had a few players leave this season leaving us with a bare bones squad of 10! In today’s game we only had 8 away at Wickersley. The girls were amazing. They worked tirelessly all game and showed great fitness. Wickersley played with 10, which showed great class from them, even though they had four subs.. The pitch cut up throughout and the girls came off the pitch muddy but smiling. The game finished 2-2 and we twice came back after falling behind. The girls have shown great resilience this year after being beaten every game. Today, they made coaches and parents really proud. They turn up to matches and training every week no matter the previous games result. Which is a massive victory in my eyes.

The opposition coaches and parents were very complimentary of our girls, we just need another three or four players and we’d be competitive. So if anyone knows of a 12/13 year old girl who might be even slightly interested in playing football, send them our way! UTC 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤
