A massive congratulations to Wrighty, Drewy, Callum and the Reserves squad, following their fantastic 4-1 victory away at Wombwell Main on Saturday. The third time the lads have put 4 past Wombwell in fixtures this season, although as Tom Wright noted in his post match interview, the game was much more competitive than that scoreline maybe suggests, and Chris Snaith made a great penalty save in the first half.

Church were off to a flyer with a brilliantly well taken volley by the young man with a knack for goals at all levels this season, Luke Fretwell on 7 minutes. The second from Alfie Broughton on 48 mins after a nice move down the right flank, the third a great low free kick across the keeper into the bottom corner by the tireless Will Heath on 68 mins, and the fourth and final coming after a Luke Fretwell low cross and a nice tap in by Matty Jacobs in the 89th min to round things off for the Church who march onto the semi-final…..

Well in lads and UTC

Another brilliant Vlog from Wombwell Main on their You Tube page which includes extended highlights of the game. If you are a bit sensitive to industrial language then a warning that the video contains some
