In their penultimate match of the County Senior League Premier Division campaign, Wrighty, Drewy and the lads travelled the short distance to local rivals Dodworth MW for a 6.30pm kickoff. The Reserves went away to South Elmsall today and gave a good account of themselves at The Wezzie. The game finishing in a 0-0 draw in challenging conditions, the wind played a big part in the game, and some tactical changes kept the game interesting. A quite amazing County Senior League Cup Semi Final this evening, hosted at Athersley FC, saw our reserves beat Dodworth Miners Welfare FC on penalties. It took 12 rounds of penalties for the teams to be separated but the lads prevailed 9-8 with a Chris Snaith save proving decisive after Callum Lee had scored his second of the shootout, quite literally leading from the front. Church Reserves were at home again on Saturday afternoon v AFC Dronfield in the County Senior League Premier Division on National None League Day. A 1-0 win today makes it 6 wins from the last 8 fixtures, and the winner was scored by that man Will Heath. The lads stay second in the league table. Match Reaction below from manager Tom Wright.

On Weds 25th March 2026 at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground in the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior Premier Division, Church reserves ran out 2-0 victors v a good Handsworth Reserves side in what was an entertaining game for a decent crowd. On Wednesday evening we host a Sheffield County Senior League Premier Division fixture between Tom Wright's PCFC Reserves and Handsworth Reserves. It's a 7.45pm Kick Off under the lights, and it's free admission as usual. Come along and give the lads your support as they continue to push for a top 2 position in the league table.

Tom, Drewy & the Reserves squad came home from Silkstone with all three points following a narrow 1-0 victory in a game lacking any real quality, but it's a clean sheet away from home and another three points in the bag. Tom's thoughts on his teams performance can be heard below :

The Reserves went down 4-2 this afternoon against our local rivals at Bracken Moor. The scores were level at Half Time 1-1 with Alfie Broughton bagging again for Church. Our second half goal scorer was Will Heath, but Park Steels went on to win the game 4-2. Thankyou to those fans that followed the lads across.
