Women’s First XI 0 v 0 Socrates Ladies FC

A decent point gained in yesterday’s game with a fairly stripped-back squad & limited substitutions.

Penistone were defensively sound throughout - disrupting Socrates’ play and offering them very little when it came to goal scoring opportunities.

Despite having only one sub, the team finished the match strongly, pinning Socrates into their half in the final 20 minutes and creating numerous chances on goal.

⭐️ POM went to midfielder Paige Town, who may appear quiet and unassuming but is an absolute beast on the field. Strong and energetic, she didn’t shy out of a tackle and had yet another great game in the black and white stripes.
