U12 Girls – A Fantastic Start to the Season!

What a way to kick off the new season! Our Penistone Church U12 Girls got off to an amazing start with a 6–1 victory over Scawthorpe Scorpions!

With a mix of familiar faces and several exciting new players making their debuts, the girls came together brilliantly and showed fantastic teamwork, determination and enthusiasm from the very first whistle. It was great to see the old heads helping the new girls settle in, with everyone playing their part in a brilliant team performance.

There were some particularly special moments to celebrate:

⭐ Annie was fantastic on her debut, showing confidence and composure throughout.

⭐ Abi put in her best performance for us so far — a brilliant display!

⭐ Emily scored her first goal for the team, a thoroughly deserved reward for all the hard work she has put in. What a moment!

⭐ Nyla was excellent, combining some fantastic goals with great link-up play.

⭐ Lourdes was absolutely outstanding, scoring a fantastic hat-trick! Her superb finishing and tireless running caused problems throughout the game, and her performance earned her the well-deserved Girl of the Game award.

⭐ And last but certainly not least, Ems produced a superb and confident performance in goal.

Most importantly, every single girl played brilliantly and contributed to a fantastic team effort. To come away with a 6–1 win in the first game of the season is a brilliant achievement and gives the team a fantastic foundation to build on.

A huge well done to all the girls . You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves!
