U16 Blacks Kick The Season Off - Away at Bramley

Bramley v Penistone Blacks U16

Penistone Blacks kicked off their league fixtures with a 1-1 draw at Bramley.

The girls played really well together with Maisie , Brooke and Izzie making impressive league debuts for the team. A competitive 1st half ended 0-0 with Penistone creating several chances on the Bramley goal.

Just after the interval Lilly scored with a direct run and composed finish into the bottom corner to make it 1-0 to Penistone - much to the delight of the Penistone supporters.

Bramley responded soon after,  to make it 1-1 . Penistone continued to create chances , hitting the post and bar, but unfortunately couldn't find the winner. The game finishing 1-1 .

A good performance - with lots of positives to build on.
