Welcome to PCFC - Daniel White

We are a little late in doing so, but we wanted to wish a big welcome to Penistone Church FC to Dan White our latest signing. Dan trained with the squad and was involved in some of the pre-season frendlies, and has now signed up for the season, having been involved in the last couple of games.

Dan is ex Dronfield & Maltby Main, and Brett Lovell told us that "he is a big, strong old fashioned style centre half who defends the frame of his goal well and will head and kick anything in his path". Brett added "Dan has been around the club on trial since June and has signed on for this season, a real down to earth lad who will provide more competition for places."

Brett also praised Dans singing abilities folloiwng his induction tune on the coach back from Stockport Georgians last weekend.
