Our first visit to The Myra Shay in Bradford to play Albion Sports in their new home. For the second consecutive game the lads had to contend with an AstroTurf pitch. They put in an excellent first 45 minutes, but amazingly found themselves 0-2 at the half following two cool finishes by the ever alive Nathan Cartman. Church had seen a goal chalked off for offside and Albion's keeper had made a couple of very good saves.

Early in the second half a slick Reece High back heel saw Leon running through to finish low, to pull one back. Reece carrying a knock was subbed off for new signing Matty Lee who made an immediate impact starting a slick move that resulted in Leon creating an easy finish for Nathan Keightley all whilst Church were temporarily down to 10 men after Rob Ludlam was sinbinned.

The duo then combined for the goal of the game, a brilliant curling cross by Leon from the left was met, following a fantastic run across his man, with a clinical bullet header by Nathan giving Church a deserved 3-2 lead. Albion though made the last ten minutes an end to end affair, Leon hitting the post before Albion went close twice before finishing at the the third attempt to make it 3-3.

A really entertaining game, and a good attacking performance by Church , with Jordan Coduri pulling strings behind a lively front 3. Church fans can look forward to a great addition in Matty Lee, who had a real impact on the game from the bench..
