U15 Blacks went into their final game of the season in good form, winning 2 out of their last 3 - but keen to make it 3 out of 4.

The girls went behind early to a Bramley goal but that didn't stop them continuing to play their football. With Lil and Emily continuing to develop their high energy midfield partnership - it's giving the forwards opportunity to create . Elsie was unstoppable down the wing, Hattie continuing to link midfield and attack in a no 10 role she is making her own and Layla and Mia working hard to get beyond the Bramley defence. It wasn't long before Penistone drew level with Layla scoring her 6th goal of the season after another great run down the left. Georgia coming in as an outfield sub sparked a further reaction in the team with her energy and tackling. Hattie then drove into the box with the ball and scored a great goal with the outside of her right foot to make it 2-1 to Penistone at the interval.
The second half continued to be end to end, both teams playing good football - in a what was a great advert for girls football, that both sets of supporters appreciated.
The defence continued to deal with Bramley's determined pressure. Lily, Imogen, Emmy and Omniah all making important blocks, challenges and clearances to protect the lead. Molly and Georgia always quick off their line to sweep up behind any attacks that broke through.
As the game entered the final 10 minutes. Lil stepped up and hit a trademark unstoppable shot from outside the box, into the top corner to seal the 3 points for Penistone - much to the delight of the girls and their supporters .

This result took the girls into 3rd in the table, 2 places higher than last season.
