A record crowd of 1007 gathered to make a great atmosphere at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground. A quite amazing County Senior League Cup Semi Final this evening, hosted at Athersley FC, saw our reserves beat Dodworth Miners Welfare FC on penalties. It took 12 rounds of penalties for the teams to be separated but the lads prevailed 9-8 with a Chris Snaith save proving decisive after Callum Lee had scored his second of the shootout, quite literally leading from the front.
