THANK YOU! April 4th 2026. We only went and did it..... On our last home game of the NCEL Premier Division 2025/26 season we achieved a record attendance of 1007 at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground. The fixture played versus local rivals and the oldest football club in the world Sheffield FC. A Plaque unveiling at The Crystal Palace Inn, Thurlstone, took place on March 18th 2026 at 3.00pm. The Plaque is dedicated to local man, and football pioneer, John Marsh. The founding member of the Wednesday FC in 1867. First Captain and Secretary of the club 1867- 1874. Winning Captain of the Cromwell Cup in 1868.
