PCFC Golf Day - Friday 4th Sept 2026
We are really looking forward to the 2026 PCFC Golf Day to take place on Friday 4th September from 12.30pm onwards , hosted once again at Silkstone Golf Club. The format is Texas Scramble and tee off is 1.30pm, Shotgun style utilisng all 18 holes. Entry is £50 per person or £200 per fourball. Lots of great prizes with a raffle and auction to follow. 120 Years Young - Thankyou & Congratulations to Sporting Clube de Portugal
Today we recieved this amazing gesture from Portuguese Primeira Liga football club - Sporting Clube de Portugal ( or Sporting Lisbon as they are commonly known). A signed commemorative shirt along with a letter of congratulations, which you can see below. Club friend and former FIFA referee Keith Hackett presented this to Dave Hampshire our club secretary on behalf of Sporting Clube de Portugal. 6th Major Tournament Call Up For John Stones
Thomas Tuchel yesterday announced the make up of his World Cup Squad and our very own local boy John Stones has again been named in it. John who leaves Man City at the end of the season is picked for his 6th major tournament for England after just landing the 20th trophy of his City career. Premier League Final Day
It's the final day of the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and we'll have to games on the screens. Clubhouse opens at 12pm. Happy Hour from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. All pints £4. It’s massive congratulations to Church Old Boy - John Stones, who today got to live every childhood dream, when he recieved the FA Cup from HRH Prince William at Wembley Stadium and lifted it along with his captain Bernardo Silva in front of the City fans and the world watching on TV. Marathon Man - Leon Hurles-Brook
It’s massive congratulations to Leon Hurles Brook, not only the craft and guile in the PCFC midfield/attack, but also a marathon man, after completing the Manchester Marathon last weekend.
