Another three points on the road for Church! 🙌
We created plenty of chances in the first half before Ava Rhodes-Smith finally broke the deadlock, smashing a driven finish into the roof of the net. Dearne always carried a threat though, and we went into the break just 1–0 ahead.
We couldn’t have started the second half any better. Some excellent work down the left from Alice Norman created the opportunity for Courtney Wragg, who made it 2–0 inside the opening minute.
Dearne deserve huge credit for the effort and commitment they showed despite having no substitutes, but Church kept pushing and Courtney wrapped up the points late on with a classy, composed finish for her second of the afternoon. ⚽⚽
